Welcome to Gooch Gaming!

Gooch Gaming is an online gaming community and clan, relying on tactics, skill, and a good set of people. We play regularly and anyone is welcome to come and game with us at any time, our members are always friendly and welcoming and we're open to applicants if anyone wants to become part of our growing community. While our members play a huge breadth of games, you'll primarily find us on Counterstrike Source, Team Fortress 2 and the Left 4 Dead games, although feel free to challenge us to a game of anything you want anytime.

144 achievements added
New lifetime player stats and summary screens
New match player stats and summary screens
New end of round display with MVP and interesting fact about a player
Updated scoreboard with new icons, visual style, MVP stars, and avatar pictures
New cinematic death camera
New domination and revenge system
Added avatar icons to voice chat, scoreboard, and end of round display
Incorporated many source engine updates
Disallowed the use of arbitrary command strings for the message of the day screen. Now only a specific list of commands is allowed.
Addressed issue in which AWPs and Scouts sometimes did not make the zooming sound.
cvar mat_showlowresimage is now a cheat command.
Many development console commands which would crash the server removed.
Updated source engine addresses many issues:
Better flashlight effect
Better HDR behavior

Well Everyone it gives me great pleasure to welcome you all to our new website! Sorry about the downtime today, but as you can see there was a reason for it

I've done away with the Wordpress side of the site as I'm sure we can all agree that it's usage was next to none, and there was certainly no signs of that ever changing, so I've decided to make the entire site revolve around our forums, it seems that where the whole site is it... so after an update to SMF, a brand new theme and an install of SimplePortal, here we are! Let me know what you think of both the new site and the new L4D style logo, although do note I've made sure to incorporate our crosshair on that second O

Now let's try and make this worth and get yourselves posting in the forums, it's time to get activity back! Also, it's possible for anyone with Admin to add an article to this front page, i'll add a guide to it in the admin forums ASAP so that anyone can post any relevant news and/or lols....
